Accessibility
What we have done to make this site usable for everyone, and how to tell us where it falls short.
Our commitment
Tentie Psychiatry is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control. Accessibility is treated as part of clinical access, not as a separate compliance exercise: a patient who cannot use the website cannot request an appointment.
Standard
This site is built to conform with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.
What that means here
- Colour contrast meets AA thresholds in both light and dark display modes.
- Body text is set at 17–18 pixels and scales without breaking the layout.
- Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Form fields have associated labels, and errors are announced to assistive technology.
- Headings follow a logical order so screen reader users can navigate by structure.
- Decorative artwork is marked as decorative so it is not announced.
- Motion is reduced automatically for users who have set that preference in their operating system.
- A skip link allows keyboard users to bypass navigation.
Language access
The entire site is available in Spanish, and care is provided in Spanish by a native speaker without an interpreter. If you need materials in another format — large print, or a document read aloud — ask, and it will be arranged.
Telling us about a problem
If you encounter a barrier on this site, contact [EMAIL] or call [PHONE]. Please describe the page and what happened. Reports are acted on, and if something on the site prevents you from requesting an appointment, call and it will be handled by phone.
