In-person appointments in Houston
The practice office is at 5373 W Alabama Street Suite 428, Houston, Texas 77056. Appointments are available in person or by secure video, and you can switch between the two from one appointment to the next.
Dr. Torrijos has practised in the Houston area since 2015, including at the Behavioral Health Crisis Clinic at Memorial Hermann and, subsequently, in outpatient psychiatry across Harris County.
Who we see in Houston
Adults 18 and older, for comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, medication management, second opinions and integrative psychiatric assessment. A substantial proportion of patients come through referral from local therapists, primary care physicians and specialists who want an assessment that accounts for the medical picture rather than ignoring it.
Care in Spanish
Houston has one of the largest Spanish-speaking populations in the United States and a persistent shortage of Spanish-speaking psychiatrists. Dr. Torrijos is a native speaker and provides the entire course of care — evaluation, explanation of diagnosis, discussion of options and written materials — in Spanish, without an interpreter.
