Telehealth for Austin and Central Texas
Tentie Psychiatry has no office in Austin. Patients in Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown and across Central Texas are seen by secure video, with the same appointment lengths as in-person care — up to 90 minutes for an initial evaluation.
What telehealth handles
Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation, ongoing medication management, second opinions and coordination with your Austin-based therapist or primary care provider all work well by video. Some situations require an in-person appointment, particularly where controlled substances are involved, and you will be told clearly if that applies to you.
Why Austin patients look outside Austin
Wait times for adult psychiatry in Austin are long, and longer still for a psychiatrist who practises in Spanish or who offers appointments beyond the standard fifteen minutes. Because this practice is not working through insurance authorisation, scheduling is generally faster.
One requirement
You must be physically located in Texas at the time of your appointment. Texas licensure does not permit treatment while you are in another state, even briefly.
